My grandfather used to take me on side jobs with him in the summer when school was out and then when I got into high school, I started working construction during the summers. I've always had a passion for building things and a passion for concrete. I love the challenge and brainstorming you have to do to complete a lot of these jobs. For the last 15 years, I've been managing the work which is more challenging. As things get harder it's very satisfying to solve new problems and complete the job. I don't ever see myself doing anything else!

I'm 25 years old and have been working in concrete & construction for 9 years. I have done many different types of work: finishing, carpentry, patching, operating, and surveying. I enjoy meeting & working with all types of personalities from day to day. What I enjoy most about concrete is the sense of accomplishment. After the job is done, I can look back and say I helped build some really really incredible things. And, I get to keep amazing stories and lifelong memories.
